please-pray-for-isabella

Isabella was born prematurely, a surprise to her 37 year old mom on January 24. She is a tiny little fighter, her lungs are not working very well and her intestines need some rearrangement. In spite of all that she is very active and has a lot of energy that she spends fluttering her tiny wings (arms) when she is awake. She is being fed via umbilical cord. She needs a lot of luck, prayers, and grace. Her mom did not know she was pregnant (that’s how tiny Isabella is) and went to the clinic suffering from a very bad “stomach ache.” Her parents have been married for years and gave up having babies long ago. I have the feeling that Isabella is going to change the hearts of many people about abortion.

In this city there are many that are militant about progressive causes – abortion in particular. But here comes this little girl, tiny, sick but lovely and starts fighting fiercely for life since minute one. There is a lesson there that is not being missed because Isabella is so premature and yet so obviously full of life, she wants to live against all odds. I am sure that many are thinking that she could have been an abortion. That is how aborted babies would look like if they were allowed to be born. The same force that moves the stars and planets is moving Isabella’s tiny arms.

Please pray for Isabella and her family that she may be a carrier of the grace of God. Her constant fluttering has earned her the nickname “angel” among the nurses and doctors. She has a smile that can cancel the world’s foreign debt in one fell swoop, worth many trillions of dollars. Pray, pray. Grace is working there to change the world with a tiny warrior of the Lord.

But Jesus said, “Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

And the Child continued to grow and become strong, increasing in wisdom; and the grace of God was upon Him. Luke 2:40

From the mouth of infants and nursing babes Thou hast established strength, Because of Thine adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease. Psalm 8:2

Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow. James 1:17

Behold, children are a gift of the LORD; The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; They shall not be ashamed, When they speak with their enemies in the gate. Psalm 127:3-5
