God promised Abraham a progeny as numerous as the stars. God also promised to Abraham’s children the land of Canaan. Abraham was a man of faith, but also a courageous man of action. His faith is an example to believers of all ages, “faith like Abraham’s” is perfect faith as far as imperfect human beings go. And yet it seems that Abraham had a moment of weakness when he followed the advice of his wife and took an Egyptian servant as a concubine. The idea was to have a child that would inherit both his fortune and Sarah’s fortune. Women could be independently wealthy in those days — contrary to the belief of today’s feminists there was a lot of room for women in the ancient “patriarchal society” of the Hebrews. When Abraham turned 86 years old his prospects of having a son from his wife Sarai were dim to say the least. That was when Sarai had the idea to give one of her slaves to Abraham to raise a heir for both their fortunes. Notice that Sarai owns her own slaves. Sarai is not an appendage to Abraham. Many years later, after God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac on Mount Moriah (Calvary) Sarah “moved up to Mamre” on what appears to be a pretty modern separation due to irreconciliable differences. Apparently Sarah did not take that sacrifice business lightly.
Let’s go back to the beginning and see how Ishmael was born.
Genesis 16:1-12 — Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children. She had an Egyptian slave-girl whose name was Hagar, and Sarai said to Abram, ‘You see that the Lord has prevented me from bearing children; go in to my slave-girl; it may be that I shall obtain children by her.’ And Abram listened to the voice of Sarai. So, after Abram had lived for ten years in the land of Canaan, Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave-girl, and gave her to her husband Abram as a wife. He went in to Hagar, and she conceived; and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked with contempt on her mistress. Then Sarai said to Abram, ‘May the wrong done to me be on you! I gave my slave-girl to your embrace, and when she saw that she had conceived, she looked on me with contempt. May the Lord judge between you and me!’ But Abram said to Sarai, ‘Your slave-girl is in your power; do to her as you please.’ Then Sarai dealt harshly with her, and she ran away from her.
The angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, the spring on the way to Shur. And he said, ‘Hagar, slave-girl of Sarai, where have you come from and where are you going?’ She said, ‘I am running away from my mistress Sarai.’ The angel of the Lord said to her, ‘Return to your mistress, and submit to her.’ The angel of the Lord also said to her, ‘I will so greatly multiply your offspring that they cannot be counted for multitude.’ And the angel of the Lord said to her,
‘Now you have conceived and shall bear a son;
you shall call him Ishmael, [God heard]
for the Lord has heard your affliction.
He shall be a wild ass of a man, [man-animal]
with his hand will be against everyone,
and everyone’s hand will be against him;
and he shall live at odds with all his kin.’
Poor Abraham did not have the slightest idea of the trouble his first son’s descendants were going to unleash on the whole world. To this great idea of Sarai we owe some of our present troubles. The progeny of Ishmael was numerous indeed, much more numerous than that of Isaac. One was going to be prolific according to the flesh and the other according to the spirit. We have been watching the development of a parable lasting since the beginnings of the iron age to our days.
Today, reading some comments by Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, I had to agree:
“Let me start where I am coming from and let me be as blunt and direct as I can be — Western Civilization is in a war. We should frankly test every person here who is of a Muslim background, and if they believe in Sharia, they should be deported,” Gingrich said. “Sharia is incompatible with Western Civilization. Modern Muslims who have given up Sharia — glad to have them as citizens. Perfectly happy to have them next door. But we need to be fairly relentless about who our enemies are.” Newt Gingrich quoted from breitbart.com
And yet I can see how little our American leaders like Mr Gingrich understand how they have painted themselves into a corner misunderstanding the freedom of religion guaranteed in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
Obviously labeling something as a “religion” to take advantage of the protections of the Constitution while preaching the overthrow of the Law and Government established by said Constitution is not what the Founding Fathers had in mind.
Not long ago a foreigner arriving to the United States had to fill in and sign a small white card promising among other things that he was not nor had ever been, an active Communist or a member of the Nazi Party. That was not unfair discrimination but simple common sense.
Now back to the proposal of Mr Gingrich: the followers of Islam are exactly that. From their very name “Islam” they have submitted to Sharia Law and the precepts of Islam, including taqiyya, a precept by which it is permitted to the believer to deceive a foreign power by feigning allegiance and peaceful intentions to further the expansion of Islam. Therefore the banning of such “religion” is not based on fear but on logical inference from historical experience, in the same way that the descendants of Adolf Hitler could not adopt the ideas and parafernalia of the Nazi movement to start a political movement in the USA. Islam as written is not a religion in the classical sense but the instructions for a movement bent on world domination.
Islam is not a religion as Westerners understand them. The killings will not end until all members of that movement are confined to their ancestral countries and obliged to remain there, where they no doubt will continue to kill each other as they have been doing for many centuries now. There is no “moderate” Islam, even those who live a peaceful life, respecting the laws of the host country, collaborate with the “extremists” by providing them with money, erecting mosques where violence can be preached, and promoting a lifestyle of non-integration.
If these senseless and unnecessary immigration policies continue to be applied, one day a policy of extermination will emerge as the last desperate solution to the conflict. Who is going to be the exterminator and who the exterminated is yet to be seen.
What is entirely sensible given a thoughtful and balanced reading of history and staying as close to truth as facts will allow, will be seen as intemperate and dangerous inflammatory rhetoric by the brainwashed who stray as far from truth as feelings can lead.

Caring for what thoughts Liberals may defecate had led us to this point. Time to say what has to be said.

Very controversial thing to say, however………..this is also becoming a country where simply Expressing the wrong opinion about BLM on your personal Facebook page from home can get you disciplined at work or even fired. You also can be sued, fired or disciplined at many jobs for simply expressing your uncomfortableness when you are told that a trans-gendered person will be using the same locker room as you at work. i have seen it happen. Not an angry expression of uncomfortableness, but a sincere conversation with a supervisor when someone who you have always known as a woman, that still has breasts and a vagina, is now sharing your locker room! We are punishing some people for their beliefs….why not others…..if that is what we do now ? What is more dangerous to the community at large ? A person that thinks they should have a separate locker room for people with unlike genitals and is polite about it, or a person that believes drawing a picture of their deity deserves penalty of death ?

The threats are real, but I think there is a change in the wind. How quickly the transition has occurred from Trump turning over the tables of the temple (not to take that analogy any further) to having a major political figure say the obvious. Look also at the Republican VP nominee, just months from having experienced a stinging defeat at the hands of the current incarnation of the Pink Swastika.
Many of us have been saying our Rosaries as much as possible, knowing that we are in a war, and possibly making headway.
The enemy of Western Civilization, by which we mean Christendom and, effectively, Catholicism, is a two-headed monster. Secular-humanism is a religion masquerading as a political movement and Islam is a political movement masquerading as a religion. Two sides of the same coin and two false prophets, joined at the hip. By their fruits you shall know them, we are told, and the fruits just may be becoming evident, for all to see, just in time.
The unmasking of Black Lies Matter is a case in point. The preachers in the inner cities are now tasked with reorienting their flocks in line with reality, preaching repentance in lieu of revenge. If that happens, we may find the vehicle for getting somewhere speeding up.

I am convinced that the beast is Liberalism and the false prophet is Mohammedanism. It is also suggesting that so many things happened around the days of Our Lady of Mount Carmel (16) and St Elijah (17) who is the slayer of false prophets. I have a hunch we will see many events from now on, both natural, political, and supernatural. Stay tuned! 🙂

“the beast is Liberalism”; not that I find that off the mark, in fact, it rather rings true, but what makes you say you are convinced of that?

May be that should be the subject of a new article. I have said before that Liberalism is the quintessential sin, the sin against God the Father that is manifested in the world as a sin against ALL forms of fatherhood, mainly the Pope, Bishops, and Priests. A fundamental text on that is Fr Sarda i Salvany’s Liberalism is Sin. a book written more than 100 years ago. There is a free download in English in the web, Google it. Great book.
In our days, the German Reformation is the early manifestation of a resistance against God that later begets Liberalism, Socialism, Communism, Progressivism, Feminism, etc. You can get also an opus by Fr Horacio Bojorge, S.J. “Liberalism: Sin, Iniquity, Abomination” available in Amazon Kindle.
