Before I start rambling: I would like to thank those who sent donations in the last 45 days or so. It has been a very busy time for me because the things I must research keep multiplying. Every little something my faithful readers send, allows me to buy precious time. When you are done reading this post, you will understand. I had to go back to school and refresh some concepts I haven’t thought about in ages. I thank God for YouTube and TED Talks and thank God also for my generous readers for keeping me alive!
Today the Church remembers St. Nicholas, a brave Bishop with a mean right hook who fought one of the most extended heresies of all times: Arianism. As you carefully read the selections below, notice the highlighted words because they will be important later. You may want to call that Physics professor you haven’t talked to in years also, if you don’t know any, a video is provided that will walk you through some important concepts in Particle Physics that we are going to touch during this post. Don’t roll your eyes! This is getting interesting and we haven’t started yet!
The readings
Isaiah shows us the world corrected by God
Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest? In that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind shall see. The meek shall obtain fresh joy in the LORD, and the poor among men shall exult in the Holy One of Israel. For the ruthless shall come to nought and the scoffer cease, and all who watch to do evil shall be cut off, who by a word make a man out to be an offender, and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate, and with an empty plea turn aside him who is in the right. Therefore thus says the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no more be ashamed, no more shall his face grow pale. For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. And those who err in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.” (Isaiah 29:17-24)
As I heard these words read during Mass, my imagination attempted to picture a world renewed by the Holy Spirit. A world where not only the deaf and blind will hear and see. If you were sent to that new world today for just one hour, you would have your senses enhanced and you would be convinced that you had been deaf and blind all your life. That is perhaps what Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin felt when he found Our Lady of Guadalupe on Tepeyac Hill. He was alerted of her presence by the beautiful song of birds that made him think immediately of Paradise. Then he realized that the usual dull and dry landscape had been transformed. Stones, cacti, plants, flowers were alive with colors and fragrances he had never seen before. Juan Diego had a glimpse of what the Holy Spirit can do to this world. Unwittingly, our saint view the world to come as his country was getting ready to leave the dark ages of bloody sacrifices to enter into its bright Christian future.
The Responsorial Psalm
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. I believe that I shall see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living! Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; yea, wait for the LORD! (Psalms 27:1, 4, 13-14)
That is a well known Psalm that comes alive with details that sometimes we have overlooked. And now let us look at the Gospel reading.
Two blind men follow Jesus
And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” When he entered the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith be it done to you.” And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly charged them, “See that no one knows it.” But they went away and spread his fame through all that district. (Matthew 9:27-31)
This passage of Scripture is not there just to show that Jesus was able to restore the eyesight to the blind. The two blind men represent something, the house represents something, and the words of Jesus are full of meaning!
As I heard those words read, I had one of those “aha!” moments. The two blind men were in darkness and the first thing they saw when they recovered their eyesight was the face of God, the “light of the world” — because “God is light” (1 John 1:5) Those men emerged from darkness just as we are about to emerge from the darkness of this present age into an age of light and life.
We have been following Jesus and soon, when Jesus comes to his house, the Church, he will open our eyes to the reality of the Kingdom of God. That is why the blind men called him “Son of David” — a royal title! Those two are part of the immense crowd through history that have called Jesus their king. They are the opposite of those who later said: “We have no king but Caesar!” Those who rejected Jesus to embrace the spirit of “progress” and the “revolutionary” cause, went to live the rest of history in total darkness. They declare to see — even to this day — but because they have rejected God, their darkness (sin) remains. (John 9:41)
And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light, so that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.’ (John 3: 19-21)
A prophecy attributed to Fr. Michele Rodrigue
Spirit Daily has published an interesting article with quotes from a vision or prophecy attributed to Fr. Michele Rodrigue: Father Michel’s Alleged Prophecy: A Time Of ‘Warning’ in which the priest gives us a few details about an event — announced by many saints in the past and by Our Lady of Mount Carmel in her apparitions to four Spanish girls in Garabandal, Spain. That event is usually referred to as “The Warning” or “The Illumination of Conscience” that will be manifested to the world.
“The illumination will last about fifteen minutes, and in this merciful pre-judgment, all will see immediately where they would go if they were to die: Heaven, purgatory, or hell. More than seeing, however, they will feel pain of their sins, all of them, even the ones they have confessed in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. But the ones they have confessed will be experienced differently.” (Quoted from Father Michel’s Alleged Prophecy: A Time Of ‘Warning’)
Then he mentions something unusual:
“Since 2012, I saw the ball of redemption coming upon the earth. I saw a second ball of fire. The Lord [in Father Michel’s rendering] said, ‘Keep ready. The pride of the strong will be broken.’” (Quoted from Father Michel’s Alleged Prophecy: A Time Of ‘Warning’). [Compare with the quote from Isaiah (above) and other biblical descriptions of the separation of the just from the wicked and read also a very interesting article by Mark Mallett.]
And here is where things get even more interesting. This is being revealed to us in the context of what appears to be a generalized infiltration of the upper echelons of the Catholic Church, a widespread violation of various traditions and commandments, and the profanation of the altar of Saint Peter’s Basilica in Rome last October 13. At that time pagan idols were introduced during Mass and profane objects were placed upon the highest altar of the Church. Apparently those actions were only the beginning of a series of profanations. We haven’t seen the end of that yet. By those actions, the doors of the Church have been opened to the forces of darkness.

Also in this context, four exorcists have urged the faithful to fast and pray on December 6. That is the day the Church remembers Saint Nicholas, a great saint who fought the Arian heresy.
Well, it seems that those prayers were heard. A very special visitor from deep space —perhaps the first of the “balls of fire” mentioned by Fr. Michel Rodrigue — is fast approaching our solar system. It is expected to reach its nearest point to the Sun this Sunday, December 8, Feast of the Immaculate Conception. It will reach its nearest point to Earth on December 28, when the Church remembers the Holy Innocents. (See Borisov’s Comet post in this blog and the attached video for important information.)
It is still to be seen if this visitor from deep space will affect us. I believe it will but I am not sure if I can explain why. I am a physics fan, I like to read about the latest discoveries but my practical knowledge of physics is rudimentary. Those who want to learn a little bit about basic concepts can watch this brief but very useful video: Quantum Fields: The Real Building Blocks of the Universe – with David Tong and this video about the nature of comets: Electric Comets.
The basic idea I get from those two videos and the little bit of physics that remains in my deteriorated brain is this: a comet such as Borisov’s could possibly alter a significant part of the electromagnetic field in the Solar System. I am specially interested to see what will happen beginning December 8. A scary scenario would involve the partial or total fulfillment of what Saint John the Divine saw in his vision of the Sixth Seal:
When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and there came a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree drops its winter fruit when shaken by a gale. The sky vanished like a scroll rolling itself up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth and the magnates and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, ‘Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?’ (Revelation 6:12-17)
Unbelievable as it may seem, there are scenarios in which a large enough comet could briefly disrupt solar activity. If this happens, good Christians all over the world will turn to prayer and won’t panic like those wicked rich and powerful described by St. John. Perhaps next December 28 will find us waving good-bye to Comet Borisov. I hope we can sit back and relax with nothing of substance to report. But if major upheavals were to come of this, please remember that this is all in God’s plan. Nothing of real importance will be missing. There is no need to panic because our liberation is near.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)
Please forgive this rambling post. I am still digesting all the information involved and the dates are right upon us. In case the Internet is blown to pieces by some electromagnetic storm, I thought I better post this one, green as it is. Just in case: pray.

The above is a painting I bought about two years ago called “Stargazers” by Dan Driscoll.
Here is the symbolism:
Father Charles, a distant relative and missionary priest in Ghana, Africa, symbolized by the African Grey parrot native to Ghana. Father David, a family friend and missionary priest on Easter Island, symbolized by the Easter Island statue wearing sunglasses. My own biological father, symbolized by the meteors. They have all died. And before buying the painting, I had gotten into the habit of inviting their guardian angels to Mass to pray for the repose of their souls.
After my father died, he appeared to me in a dream saying my name and asking if I was going to watch the stars. Because when he was alive, we would always watch the Perseid Meteor Shower together whenever we could, and he promised that he would always wake me up for something important going on in the sky, even if it was the middle of the night. So then in the dream, I dreamed of a meteor shower consisting of huge boulders falling from the sky, like the ones in the painting I later bought. (There were other art coincidences too.)
As for Father Charles, missionary in Africa, two or three days ago I said the Rosary while driving in the car, then turned on the radio and heard a song that’s always reminded me of him … “Do they Know it’s Christmas ~ Band Aid 1984”
“But say a prayer, pray for the other ones
At Christmastime it’s hard, but when you’re having fun
There’s a world outside your window
And it’s a world of dread and fear
Where the only water flowing

Here in Québec, mainstream medias are complaining about a supposed labour shortage. But at the same time, needs for food banks have never been so high.
We are living in a world of lies of course.
The current world fills the dreams of the weathy elites so much that they lie to keep it that way.
What will this Borisov’s comet bring? I hope for some change and, having read Father Heilman’s article and Mark Mallett’s article, I know they also are hoping for some change in the world.
But I am not sure this comet will fulfill this change because I have read that it will not be visible to the naked eye.
However, the mentioned dates of December 8th and December 28th are troubling.
Being fed up with the current state of the world, I pray the Rosary hoping Jesus will intervene soon.

I will try to explain this on a later post, perhaps tonight. I included two videos that require some concentration. One explains the nature of the electromagnetic field, the other explains the electromagnetic nature of comets. This last one also explains how comets can briefly alter the flow of solar plasma, even when passing at great distances from the sun. I understand these things only faintly but from what I can surmise, distance from the sun does not mean much if the comet is large enough and the distortions it introduces are intense. In this case we are talking about a comet with a cauda large enough to contain the Earth several times: 176,000 km. We simply have no idea of what its simple passing by may cause. We cannot imagine what could happen if it hits something on its way out of the solar system. Scientists do not quite understand yet how the electromagnetic field is connected to the gravitational field and then how all of those connect to the space-time continuum. Since Einstein, many things have been understood but also many new questions have surged, many new mysteries have appeared. So, if it is not going to be visible to the naked eye may be completely irrelevant. Say for example that it hits one of the great gas giants (Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter) igniting it and forming a brand new star. We may end the year with a new solar system, with a double star that will change completely the nature of life on earth. Imagine another sun (say like Uranus) that takes 88 years to go around the sun and what that could do to the photosynthesis processes on earth. It boggles the mind to try to imagine something like that. But God has thought of it and is talking to us: “The Heavens declare the glory of God!” so it is better to have a wait and see attitude, dismiss nothing and pray that we will be able to remain loyal to Him even through the most catastrophic changes. I will end this speculative comment asking all of you to pray for a good friend and a loyal follower of this blog who has been sick, very sick, for decades and falls into periods of despair. She needs our prayers. I hope Our Lord remembers the plight of the just in this wicked world and hastes to correct the situation before we fall even further down into chaos and wickedness.

Thank you for this Carlos;; I had read about Borisov’s comet but your insights have greatly enhanced my understanding of the possibilities to be considered. Just a thought regarding the December dates: the Jewish feast of Hanukkah (Festival of Lights) occurs this year from Dec 22-30. Within this period, on Dec.28-29 the month of Kislev ends and the month of Tevet begins, signalled by the new moon.
