In the last forty-eight hours I had many readers ask about the consecration of Russia that will take place next March 25. This morning I read a commentary by Bishop Athanasius Schneider asking his brother bishops all over the world to join said consecration.

Through the years I have been reading about the 1917 events of Fatima, the secrets, the consecration of Russia, etc. I could make little sense of it all. The message of Fatima is a message of hope, a prelude to the arrival of the Kingdom of God. Knowing that was enough for me.

A thought came to my mind this morning while reading yet another question from a reader about the consecration.  In this age of diabolic confusion I can say only have questions and very few certainties. I am satisfied that all we are seeing these days is nothing but a “table of lies” opposite to the Truth that is Christ. Those who control the Church can and will do what they please. They will also have to accept the consequences of their actions. Those consequences will be painful, if I am not mistaken. I pray I am mistaken.

I quote this from from the excellent Canadian blog Vox Cantoris post of March 16, 2022:

If this is true and if Our Lady asked for Russia to be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart, we need to ask the question: Was this done? It has also been said that in order to be valid it must be done at the same time throughout the world by every bishop in union with the Pope. If this were true, then why did none of the Popes that undertook some kind of “consecration,” Pius XII, Paul VI and John Paul II, command it? It would take a Papal Bull with the pain of excommunication for disobedience to enforce it because if one bishop did not comply, it would be invalid. Now, I would ask this, would Our Lady attach such conditions? Conditions that would be so minute as to make it invalid? Conditions that would cause so much schism?

I believe Our Lady of Fatima asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart because that was exactly what the world needed. I also believe that the conditions she attached to her request were necessary. The Beast that was being born in 1917 was going to be a solid, formidable enemy of God. It had to be confronted by the Church with unprecedented unity and spiritual strength. Well … it did not happen. Tepid attempts were made by various Popes, even to the point of Sr. Lucy of Fatima saying that a concealed consecration (not in unity with all the bishops of the world) was accepted by God and yet the promised peace never materialized.

And finally, my thought of the day. Perhaps one of the reasons for the request of Our Lady was to expose two important things:

  1. The lack of unity among the Bishops and the reluctance of some to properly honor the Eucharist and even Our Blessed Mother.
  2. The fact that said lack of unity was the result of the multi-pronged infiltration of the Church by modernism, satanic worshippers of various sects and later, by the Communist. Many of those infiltrated elements are going to be present during the consecration this coming March 25.

I do believe this consecration will have consequences —I hope and pray I am wrong about this— and those consequences are not going to be desirable or good.

  1. The Soviet Union will be resurrected.
  2. A divided, infiltrated Church will have to fight a formidable alliance of Russia and China.
  3. War and not peace will be the result
  4. The results of the consecration will reveal a fractured Church debilitated by infiltration and infidelity.

Those are my thoughts which I dread and hope will never come to pass.

Father George David Byers comments on the same subject HERE   and also …

“You console Me a great deal by asking Me for the conversion of those poor nations (Russia, Spain and Portugal)… Make it known to My ministers, that given they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My request, that they will follow him into misfortune. Like the King of France, they will repent and will do as I have requested, but it will be very late: Russia will already have spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer! But it will never be too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.” Quoted from: Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Reparation for the Outrages
