Those who know me through this blog also know that many times I have asked for help during the tough years between 2008 through 2016. I want to thank all those who supported me with their prayers or some material help. You will be always in my daily prayers. This blog does not need any material support for the time being. All things remaining the same, the blog will remain self sufficient since someone is covering the small expenses. Now a new peril looms in the horizon and this cannot be resolved with mere money.
Ever since I moved to my current residence in Buenos Aires, I have been under extreme duress coming from various sources. I arrived here on May 26, 2012 and almost immediately the attacks began. There were events I attributed to demonic activity, other events were part of the cross I have carried all my life. At this time I am beginning to surmise that those travails and tribulations were the result of some ancient trouble in my family tree. The forces at play almost destroyed me in my youth but Christ was there. He was looking not at the sinner back then but at some point in the future where He will meet me and show me the reason for so much distress.
Here in Buenos Aires, I am living in a modest two-bedroom apartment in a nondescript building in the neighborhood of Villa Urquiza. My abode is under attack from various fronts. The city changed a lot since my youth. The gentle old neighborhood has a new population and one can hardly call that an improvement. I am surrounded by packs of evil on every side and I have to spend considerable energy and time fighting for survival and fending off aggressions of all kinds.
Not to make a long story longer, there were several legal attacks to take my rightfully owned roof from over my head. One of those attacks (in odium fidei) seem to have succeeded through legal tricks and some degree of corruption. It was a kamikaze aggression, the aggressor loses as much or more than I do. Now I am facing a very real possibility of my home being put on the auction block. The vultures are gathering and I am too tired of this game after a decade.
I am asking of you, dear readers, to please pray for these intentions until I report the outcome thereof. Those of you who belong to prayer circles, please request your fellow prayer warriors to join us.
- For the resolution of this awful situation according to the will of God
- For the conversion and subsequent salvation of all my not very intelligent enemies
- For the protection of this old sinner
I recommend the prayer listed below but you can pray as you wish. I will remain eternally grateful for your sincere prayers.
Pray also for the Church and pray for all faithful priests and bishops.

Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God. I place in you all my interests and desires. Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. You got it, Carlos. Interestingly, I became attached to this St. Joseph prayer and committed it to memory about 10 years ago, shortly after entering the Church. I’ll try to stay focused for 9 days for your sake.

Dear sir,
You will most assuredly be in my prayers for this intention. God will save you, of that I’m certain. Though we cannot wrap our feeble human minds around His will, we will ask for His beneficent mercy on your behalf. Your writings, musings, research and boldness for Truth has put you in the forefront of my reading and turned over many stones in my mind that were heretofore overlooked. You’re one of God’s candles lighting the path to Him. May our almighty, merciful and just God come to your aid and perform His miracle, so that all can see His divine nature and know that only He could have done this.
May Jesus Himself protect you, sir, and may His angels come to your defense physically, mentally and spiritually. ‘They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone”…”a thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come night thee”. May God’s promises come to your aid, even now, and keep you from the snares set for you by the wicked one who wishes to silence you. He has no power here. You are chosen of God and only He can destroy you.
I look to see your report on the positive outcome of this prayer request. I have only faith that you be spared, the house will be spared and your enemies will suffer defeat.

Great encouragement among many encouraging comments from so many beloved readers.
I was just telling this to a friend: I do not want to sound presumptuous but I have noticed over the years that there are readers that take certain things I write very seriously. In fact, I came to believe that I am not writing this words all by myself. While I write, often my grandmother comes to mind, St. Joseph as well as other saints. Inspired I am not but I came to think I am guided to feed those souls who are tired and thirsty for a more substantial nourishment.
Reading your comments I see that God seems to be turning my vicissitudes into something positive. I am very glad I asked for prayers.
